Mission Statement:

• To reduce substance abuse among youth in the Roanoke Valley by enhancing and improving the coordination of substance abuse education, prevention, and resources.

Goals:

• Reduce substance abuse use among youth by addressing the risk factors in the Roanoke Valley that increase the risk of substance abuse and promoting the protective factors that minimize the risk of substance abuse.

• Establish and strengthen collaboration among communities, private nonprofit agencies and governments to support the efforts of RAYSAC to prevent and reduce substance abuse among youth.
